BANGKOK, Dec 18 -- Red Bull racer Australian Mark Alan Webber will drive Formula One (F1) car for exhibition of F1 driving in Thailand on Ratchadamnoen Avenue on Saturday as part of celebrations for HM the King's birthday in the "Street of Kings Rajdamnoen Red Bull Bangkok 2010" show.

The event will also commemorate the feats of the late Prince Birabongse Bhanudej, widely known as Prince Bira, the first and so far only Thai Formula 1 driver.

On Friday, Webber, who finished third in the world championship this year, has an audience with HM King Bhumibol at Siriraj Hospital for an hour.

In another rare public appearance, the monarch came down from his hospital room to view the Red Bull Racing team's Formula One car on display at Siriraj Hospital.

HM the King was also briefed by Webber and the Red Bull racing team about the car.

Webber also presented to HM the King a model F1 car.

Red Bull Beverage managing director Saravudh Yoovidhya said the exhibition is part of the celebrations of the King's 84th birthday and Red Bull Racing's drivers' and constructors' world titles.

Webber's team-mate Sebastian Vettel won the championship, while Red Bull itself won the Constructor's Championship.

On Saturday, Webber will drive his super car the RB6-Renault RS27 over a circuit that will run from Phan Fa Bridge (near the Golden Mount) towards Democracy Monument and finish at Kok Wua Intersection.

The competitors are expected to do three laps, while spectators are arranged in four zones between Phan Fa Bridge and the Democracy Monument.

Beginning with a parade at 1pm, the race is due to start at 330pm with at least 10,000 spectators expected to be attending this unique event.

The public is invited to enjoy the show free of charge, but the viewing areas along Ratchadamnoen Avenue are limited.

Princess Chulabhorn will preside over the event. Red Bull and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) jointly organised it.
