Red Shirts Commemorate the six victims killed in May's military crackdown.

BANGKOK, April 26 - Anti-establishment "red-shirt" supporters on Thursday began to rally at Ratchaprasong intersection in downtown Bangkok, where the bloody crackdown took place in 2010, to commemorate the event, go6TV's JJ.Sathon reported.

The rally is led by Payao Akahad, whose daughter Kamolkade, an assistant nurse, was found shot dead in Pathum Wanaram Temple on May 19, 2010. Today would have been her daughter's 27th birthday.

During March to May 2010, red-shirt supporters held street rally demanding the then Abhisit Vejjajiva government to resign. The rally ended with confrontation with military, resulting in 92 deaths and about 2,000 injuries.
